Cristina Hoyos, one of the most renowned dancers and choreographers of all time, founded this museum to serve as the artistic legacy of her career. It is just five minutes from the Cathedral and the Giralda Tower, one of the most emblematic spots of all of Seville, and it is housed in an eighteenth-century building where more traditional architecture fuses with an appealing contemporary design.
The museum invites you to immerse yourself in the magical world of flamenco. Throughout its four floors, you will be able to experience the passion of the dancers and artists during the shows, discover the ancient history of the art of flamenco in an interactive exhibition, explore how contemporary artists capture the feel of flamenco, and follow the evolution of flamenco from its inception until its recognition as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
Open every day of the year.
Opening Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (last ticket sold at 6:15 p.m.).
